Damp and mould remain serious issues for many social housing tenants, but positive changes are on the way. New regulations under Awaab’s Law will soon require social housing landlords to act within strict time frames to investigate and repair serious damp and mould problems, helping to ensure homes are safe and healthy to live in.
Our next Housing Forum will explore what these new standards mean for tenants and how local housing providers, including RHP and PA Housing, plan to respond. It’s also a chance to share your own experiences, raise concerns, and learn from others facing similar challenges.
