Want to feel more comfortable with technology?

Richmond AID is a lead partner on Connect to Tech with Ruils and Mencap as part or our partnership.  We also work closely on Connect to Tech with Age UK Richmond and Richmond Mind.

Connect to Tech provides support to people over the age of 18 living in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames across all impairment groups and also those with long term health conditions including physical and sensory disabilities, learning difficulties, mental health conditions, and unpaid carers.

Example devices and free Wi-Fi available to use in all sessions!

  • Tech Training: Every Tuesday at 12:30pm @ Richmond AID, TW11 8HT. Join a 2-hour training workshop covering areas such as email, WhatsApp, WIFI and broadband. Get help with things like internet shopping, using apps, online safety and accessibility features.
  • Tea & Tech: Every Thursday at 11am @ The Castlebar, TW11 8HA. Join us for 2 hours of peer support in a relaxed atmosphere covering different topics of the client’s choosing.
  • IT Doctor: One-to-one appointments of dedicated support. Particularly helpful for individuals with anxiety around learning in a group setting.
  • Universal Credit Journal Support: 2-hour monthly group support for individuals needing help accessing their Universal Credit Online Journal with input from our dedicated Advice Team. Booking through Richmond AID required
